Mary Lois Norman of Turon, KS died Sunday, April 13, 2003, at Reno County Hospice in Hutchinson, KS at the age of 74. She was born January 9, 1929 to Robert Truman Allen and Mary Lois (Riggs) Allen in Forgan. On August 26, 1965, she married Elton Lee Norman in Garden City, KS. Elton died December 11, 1999. She was a homemaker and had lived in Hutchinson, KS since 1992. Survivors include sons, Sandy Ray Vandagriff of Grove, OK and David Lee "Butch" Norman of Lawrence, KS; foster son, Jack Gregg of Topeka, KS; daughters, Glynda Lee Overton of Perryton, TX, Snoma Jean Vandagriff of Portland, OR and Linda Kay Dittenber of Fairoaks, CA; foster daughter, Janet Gregg of Topeka, KS, 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Barnes. Graveside services were Tuesday, April 15 at Turon Cemetery in Turon, KS.
