Mrs. Nancy Payn, consort of James C. Payn, died in Monroe County, Ga., of dropsy of the heart, after protracted illness, Sunday evening, March 28, 1886, and was buried at Rock Spring Cemetery Tuesday, March 30, leaving husband, one daughter and three sons. The deceased was the oldest daughter of the late Judge John H. Akin.
