Roger L. Deppe, age 61, of Marceline, Missouri died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Pershing Memorial Hospital, Brookfield. Roger was born at Galesburg, Illinois on April 10, 1950 to Ernest and Jo (Luxmore) Deppe. Roger had worked in housekeeping at Galesburg Research Hospital for 15 years. He had attended New Hope Baptist Fellowship in Marceline and had been a Marceline resident the past eight years. He is survived by his mother Jo Williams, Forsythe, MO; two brothers, James Deppe, Hollister, MO; Robert Deppe, Upper Lake, CA; two sisters, Barbara Buso, Forsythe, MO; Karen Zeitzer, Indian Hills, CA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Ernest and step father Bob Williams. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Friday, August 19, 2011 at Elmwood Cemetery, Marceline. Visitation will be held from 10 am until time of services Friday at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline.
