MUNCHER, CLAUDE LOUIS age 89, of Ragland, died March 10, 1995. He was retired from National Cement Company after 42 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ragland; resident of Ragland since 1928. Funeral service will be Monday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Ragland with burial in Ragland Methodist Cemetery. The Rev. Doug Ford and the Rev. Curtis Rush officiating. His grandsons will be pallbearers. The only granddaughter will be honorary pallbearer. Survivors: daughters, Helen D. Love, Birmingham; and Janice M. Blankenship, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; son, William L. Muncher, Birmingham; sister, Flora Averhart, Mt. Olive; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Kilgroe Funeral Home directing.
