Elaine Ball Herring, age 39, of Strong, AR died Tuesday, January 11, 2000 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was born January 26, 1960 in White Pine, TN to Dorothy Brown Ball and the late Lester Ball. She was Public Relation Director for Herring Furniture in Strong and was formerly employed with South Arkansas Eye Clinic. She was a director for the Union County Cancer Society and a member of the First Baptist Church in Strong.
Survivors are her husband, Phil Herring; four daughters and sons-in-law, Lindsey T. Thurman of Strong, AR, Chasity and Darby Brighton, Amber and Rush Cornwell and Lindsey B. Herring; her mother, Dorothy Brown Ball of White Pine, TN; three sisters, Arlene Ball of White Pine, TN, Betty Riddlebarger and Kathy Rodgers all of Morristown, TN; several uncles, aunt, nephews, nieces and friends.
Services were January 14, 2000 at the First Baptist Church in Strong, AR with Bro. Harold Diffie and Bro. James Frisby officiating under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home of Dardanelle and Rumph-Owers Funeral Home of Strong, AR. Memorial graveside services were January 17, 2000 at Dandridge Memorial Cemetery in Dandridge, TN by Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine, TN.
