Age 87. Omaha. Born to Luther Ray and Maggie Pearl (Hughes) Ray in Falls City, NE. Glen graduated from Dawson High School in Nebraska. He served in the United States Army from January 15, 1943 to January 20, 1946 during WWII. On November 31, 1923, Glen was united in marriage to Helen Virginia (Schweiger). To this union were two children, Steven and Kathleen. Glen was a pipefitter and worked for Western Electric Company in Omaha. Helen died 1997. On January 30, 1999 Glen married Gertrude Block in Omaha, NE. Glen was a member and former captain of V.F.W. Post #2503 Honor Guard in Omaha. Glen is survived by many family and friends. Graveside Services 1pm Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha, NE. Rev. Hollings of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Omaha, NE will officiate the service. Military rites by V.F.W. Post #2503 of Omaha, NE. No visitation will be held. Memorials are to be sent to the V.F.W. Honor Guard Post #2503. Online condolences left at
