William E. Budd, 74, died Tuesday in St. Joseph Medical Center.

The Liberal, Kan., native was the widower of Hazel, who died in 1984.

He was a mechanic and 14-year franchise dealer for E-Z-Go Golf Cars, and member of the Masonic Lodge, Fort Wayne Valley Scottish Rite, Mizpah Shrine and American Legion Post 296.

Surviving are daughters, Genie Budd-Mitchell of Irving, Texas, and Marilyn Budd-Kobs of Fort Worth; a sister, Katherine Glenn of Grenada Hills, Calif.; brothers, Jack of Fort Wayne, Ralfe of Hot Springs, Ark., Benny of Shawnee Mission, Kan., and O.J. of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Services are 11 a.m. tomorrow in D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., where calling is 7 to 9 p.m. today, with a Masonic memorial service at 8 p.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
