Della Pope was a rare and unique person and is known as a Super Centenarian, meaning her life spanned into 3 different centuries - 1800s, 1900s and 2000s.

During a research project in 2022, it was noted that she achieved the age of 110 years 8 months and 8 days. She has the longest known life of any documented grave in Laurel County, Kentucky. Although there could be others in Laurel County who lived longer, that is not currently known.
