Age 96, she was the daughter of the late Jessie L. Brown and Rosemond Rowe Brown. She was the wife of Thomas E. Hooper who died in November, 1975.
She was a member of the Gold Star Mothers having lost two sons within a week in World War II.
She was the last of her immediate family. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy E. Floyd; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by sons Edward, Robert and Thomas Hooper; brothers Frank and Carroll Brown; sisters Elmira Stem, Pauline Gilbert and Leanna Brown.
Interment at Westminster Cemetery.
