Elsie V. Jones
Elsie V. Jones, 76, oldest daughter of Albert H. and Ida J. Berggren passed away unexpectedly October 7th at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. She was born in Stromsburg, August 26, 1888 and graduated from the Stromsburg High School in 1909. She was baptized in the Eden Baptist Church and at the time of her death was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lincoln. In 1910 she was married to Fred S. Jones.
She was a member of Electa Chapter No. 8 O.E.S, Ladies Auxiliary of Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen and First Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held on Friday October 9 at Hodgman-Splain's Mortuary in Lincoln with the Rev. Arthur Slaikeu officiating. Interment was in the Masonic Circle, Lincoln Memorial Park beside her husband who preceded her in death.
