DIES IN VALPARAISO
Hubert Barnes, a native of Parke county, died suddenly in his Valparaiso home, Tuesday. He was 53 years old and was born in the old Barnes homestead near Judson, the son of William and Catherine Barnes.
Surviving are the widow, Anne Barnes and two sons, Dale and Hubert Jr; two brothers, Thomas Barnes of Rockville and Elmer Barnes of Hoopeston, Illinois; a sister, Lottie Barnes Randall of Chicago.
Funeral services are being conducted this (Thursday) afternoon in the Methodist church of Chesterton. Burial in the Valparaiso cemetery.
