(Age 86) Ted was born on April 25, 1925 to James and Nancy Edwards in Bonnerdale, AR. He was drafted in 1943 and served with the 71st infantry and 9th infantry division from 1943 to 1946. In 1950 he joined the Air Force and served in Korea from 1950 to 1953. Ted served in different Air Force assignments throughout the world. He came to Fairchild in 1963 and stayed to 1967. Ted retired at Minot, ND on May 31, 1970 and returned to Spokane where he was a farmer and Civil Engineer at Fairchild. In 1983 he officially retired and wondered why he hadn't done it earlier because he had so much fun farming.

Ted is survived by his loving wife Mary H. Edwards, son Dennis Edwards and his wife Cynthia, Nancy S. Witcher and her husband Mark P. Witcher, Jace Witcher, Erin Thornton, Harley, Haiden, Donna Bergman, Eric, Christi, and Travis J. Bergman.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 1:00PM at Riverside Memorial Park Mausoleum followed by a Graveside Service at the Washington State Veteran's Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Rd, Medical Lake, WA at 2:15PM.
