Ionia Daily Sentinel, 12 Mar 1948

Funeral services were held from SS. Peter and Paul church in Ionia Friday morning for Louis Agostini, Ionia businessman, who died unexpectedly in Portland Tuesday afternoon. The Requiem High Mass was conducted by the Rev. Fr. John S.Fons, assisted by the Rev. Fr. Gerard Guzikowski of the Ionia parish and theRev. Fr. Donald Farrell of Lake Odessa. Interment was in the family lot at Mt.Olivet Cemetery.

The flowers were in charge of Mrs. Mildred Agostini and Mrs. Mildred Gazella.

His bearers were Martin McNamara, Leo McAlary, Frank Gazella, Alfred Agostini, Leroy Mazzolini, and Fred Gallagher.

Attending his services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Maddock and Mrs. Madeline Jeffries and son, Jim, of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Al Clark, Mr. and Mrs. V. Driscoll, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Cosmo Minardo, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Calvin, John Cavagnaro, John Spadaro, Mr. and Mrs. Jim DeMartini, Mrs. Letha Leece, Fred Gallagher, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Berentzen, Mr. and Mrs. Bill McGillicuddy, Mrs. Minnie DeMartini and Miss Maxine DeMartini of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. John Luchini and Mrs. and Mrs. Floyd Luchini of Alma; Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Mazzolini, Leroy and Mary, of St. Johns; Ed Mazzolini of Ann Arbor; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Guidi, Santino Guidi, Faust Agostini and Aldo Agostini of Portland; Mrs. Nellie Leece and Glenn Leece of Clarksville; and Mrs. Charles Cusack of Hubbardston.
