He was born March 18, 1929, in Indianapolis, to Berta May Baringer-Huff and Shirley Raymond Huff.
He was a graduate of Crothersville High School and served in the U.S. Army as an Anti Aircraft Gunner. He went to mechanics school in St. Louis and worked at Metro Indy Go for 39 years as General Foreman in the shop.
He was a member of New Hope Community Church in Bedford. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, sports and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
David is survived by his wife of 55 years, Annabelle (Logsdon) Huff; daughter, Barbara Ann Stratton (Don); son, David Lee Huff (Becki); grandchildren, Joshua David Cadwell, Megan Lee Huff, Jacob Austin Huff and Drew Logan Stratton; as well as five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Ellen Ratts, and Roberta May Bischoff (Rich); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Saturday at The Funeral Chapel of Powell, Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street, Bloomington, burial will follow at Crothersville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at The Funeral Chapel.
