SERVICES HELD FOR HERMAN J. AALDERNIK
Herman J. Aalderink, 75, farmer, route 2, Lake Odessa, passed away Saturday
afternoon at Sunshine Hospital, Grand Rapids after a long illness. He was hospitalized there for the past ten months.
A native of Ottawa county, he married Ethel M. Goyings of White Cloud March 8,
1913. They lived at White Cloud for five years and at Grand Rapids for two years before moving to their farm on Bliss road in 1920.
Mr. Aalderink was a member of the Lakeside Grange and Lake O Farm Bureau.
Surviving are his wife: a daughter Mrs. Bernard (Gladys) Dailey of Lake Odessa:
two sons Forrest of Caledonia and Ivan of Lake Odessa: 4 grandchildren: 7 great grand children: three sisters Mrs. Alice Walker of Big Rapids, Mrs. William (Anna) Johnson and Mrs. Hattie Beukema both, of Grand Rapids and a brother John of White Cloud.
Funeral services were held Tuesday a 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel with
burial in Lakeside cemetery. Rev. Robert Wessel officiated.
