Juliet Elizabeth Moser was born October 11, 1924, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a daughter of Charles B. and Hazel Elizabeth (Hiener) Moser. She was united in marriage to Frank Haut on July 10, 1945. They have shared over 63 years of marriage.
Betty was primarily a homemaker during her lifetime, raising her two children, and assisting her husband, Frank, in his offices at Montgomery Elevator Company. In her free time she enjoyed collectibles and spent a tremendous amount of time researching and gathering family genealogy, for her side of the family: the Hieners and the Mosers, and Frank's side: the Kurigers and the Hauts.
Memorials may be made to the Kahl Home or to the Alzheimer's Association.
Survivors include her husband, Frank, Davenport; a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Lois Haut, Mt. Prospect, Ill.; grandsons and their spouses, David and Roseanne Haut, Cary, Ill., and Greg and DeAnna Haut, Volo, Ill.; and a great-granddaughter, Olivia Haut.
Betty was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheryl "Sherry" Haut, on September 10, 2006.
