Mr. Adams was born Jan. 22, 1908 in Shelby County, son of Houston and Besse Adams. He married Genevieve Waggoner on Nov. 23, 1932. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Shelbyville. He was survived by his wife; one son, Gary Adams of Farina, IL; one daughter, Jeanette Baldwin of Granite City, IL; two sisters, Bonnie Scott of Shelbyville and Claribell Gaines of Pomona, Calif.; and six grandchildren
