MERIDIAN — Services for Lloyd E. Fluetsch, 70, of 302 E 3rd St., Meridian, formerly of Nampa, who died Wednesday at home, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Nampa First Church of the Nazarene by Pastor Robert E Gather of Nampa First Mennonite Church and the Rev. Charles E. Higgins of the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene. Private family interment will precede the services in Middleton Cemetery, under the direction of Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
He was born Dec. 17, 1909, in Jamestown, N.D. At the age of 9, he moved to Nampa with his parents, where he was reared and educated. He married Thelma Lowe on Feb. 7, 1936, in Hillsboro, Ore. He farmed in the Nampa area for many years. He participated in the farming operation at the Idaho State School and Hospital for seven years. He retired in 1977 and they moved to Meridian. He was a member of the Valley Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, Meridian.
Survivors include his wife of Meridian; three sons, Jon of Clawson, Mich., Robert and Sam, two daughters, Mrs. Kelly (Anne) Miller and Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Lee, all of Nampa; a brother, Charles of Jamestown, N.D.; three sisters, Mrs. Ray (Margaret) Blickenstaff, Mrs. Alyce Blickenstaff and Mrs. Byron (Grace) Altizer, all of Nampa; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons and four brothers.
Friends may call at Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa, Sunday and Monday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
