Jack Dillard Bayless, 60, of Knob Lick, died July 18 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. He was born Dec. 20, 1929 in Knob Lick to the late McDowell and Leona Chastain Bayless. Mr. Bayless wa a life-time resident of the Knob Lick area. Before retirement he was employed at the Knob Lick Pellet Company as a machinest. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Richards Bayless of Knob Lick, his step-father Fernley "Red" Murphy of Farmington; two sons: Dennis M. Bayless of Leadwood, and Stanley D. Bayless of Farmington; two daughters: Denise N. (Mrs. Eli) DeWeez of Oakville and Deborah G. (Mrs. Rick)Stanfield of Farmington; one brother, Floyd E. Bayless of Farmington; two sisters: Laura Catherine Underwood of Oak Ridge, Tenn. and Norma Jean Hahl of WInegarden; and ten grandchildren. Visitation begins today after 6 p.m. at Cozean Funeral Home in Farmington. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Cozean Chapel with Rev. Timothy Schane officiating. Burial will be in Knob Lick cemetary. Memorials may be ade to the American Heart Association.
