Charles Henry Buxton, Jr., 48, a chocolate maker for the Sweet Candy Company, died Friday in a Salt Lake hospital of rheumatic heart disease.
A resident of Salt Lake county his entire life, Mr. Buxton lived in Union. He was born in Union, September 14, 1892, a son of Charles H. and Sarah Jane Graham Buxton.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Pearl Gregory Buxton; four sons, Verl, Jay, Albia and Ronald Buxton of Salt Lake City; three daughters, Norma and Beverly Buxton of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Donna Hart of Los Angeles, Cal.; a brother, William T. Buxton of Salt Lake City; a half-brother, James Brady of East Midvale; six sisters, Mrs. Francis Howard, Mrs. Annie Camp and Mrs. Eva Severson of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lucy Colebrook of Butlerville; Mrs. Jane McGhie of Caliente, Nev., and Mrs. Martha Howard of Merced, Cal.
