Mrs. Rosie Church Ray, 90m of Deep Gap, died Saturday, December 15, 2001, at Britt Haven Nursing Center in Wilkesboro.

She was born July 15, 1911, in Watauga County, to Smith and Maggie Miller Church.

Survivors include three sisters,.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Ray.

Services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Laurel Springs Baptist Church. The body will lie in state from 1-2 p.mm. Burial will follow in the Laurel Springs Church Cemetery.

Hampton Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
