The Blue Ridge, Ga., native retired from Rea Magnet Wire Co. after 37 years.
Surviving are his wife, Alice; daughters, Andrea Carpenter of Indianapolis, and Robin Corey and Tanya Padgett, both of Fort Wayne; his mother, Florence Phinezy of Fort Wayne; and three grandchildren.
