Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Slack Lamar of 1316 Bolivar, a resident of Denton 24 years, will be held at 3:30pm, today in the Pearl Street Church of Christ.
Jack While, minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park under direction of Schmitz-Floyd-Hamlett funeral home.
Mrs. Lamar died Saturday at 12:10 am in her home. She was born in Smithville and was a member of the Pearl Street Church of Christ.
Survivors are a son, Fred Slack of Denton; four daughters, Mrs. Pearl Ward and Mrs. E.C. Perryman, both of Denton, Miss Carrie Slack of Dallas and Mrs. H. G. Richards of Fort Worth; a brother. Will Burleson of Austin and 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
