ALTHOFF, William E. age 84 of Centerville passed away August 25, 2011. He was a retired employee of Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home, WWII Veteran, over 50 yrs member Mystic Lodge #405, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Antioch Temple, charter member of Temple Guard, R. O. J., American Legion #675, VFW #2800 & former member of Oakwood Kiwanis Club & past President.

Survived by his wife of 33 years Shirley Moore Althoff, children Laramie & Mark Jung, Mike & Julie Althoff, Serena & Jim Cordonnier, MaryAnn "M.A." McGowan, C. Arthur McGowan, Mike & Tracy McGowan, grandchildren Stephanie & John Malik, Alex & Carolyn Vincze, Andrew & Molly Vincze, Katie, Laura & Nicole Cordonnier, T. J. Hall, Benny McGowan, Josh & Mikala McGowan, Great Grandchildren Tess, Nick and Georgi Malik, and Zoe Vincze, sister LaVey (Marvin) Phillips.

Family will receive friends Monday August 29, 2011 from 6-8 PM with services at 10:30 AM Tuesday August 30, 2011 at Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd. with burial to follow at Davids Cemetery, Rev. Bobbie Predmore officiating.
