BETHANY — Robert H. "Bob" Younger, 68, of Bethany died at 8:12 p.m. (Jan. 16, 2001) in St. Mary's Hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Bethany, with
visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Marrowbone Township Cemetery, Bethany. Memorials: Bethany Fire and Ambulance.
Mr. Younger was born Oct. 15, 1932, in Moultrie County, the son of Hugh and Gertrude Mulholland Younger. He was a Navy veteran, retired farmer, and former trustee of Bethany Fire and Ambulance, Marrowbone Township, and Moultrie County Board of Review. He married Jane Redfern on Jan. 15, 1965, in Effingham.
Surviving are his wife; son, Bill Younger and wife Kari of Bethany; daughter, Becky Sinclair and husband Randy of Bethany; grandchildren, Jennifer Teague and husband Tony; Jonathan Parsons; Cole and Maci Younger; sisters, Verl Meixner of Decatur; Joan Freeland of Dalton City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
