Mr. Sigmon was a native of Lincoln County, North Carolina. He loved his church and was a member and deacon of Antioch Baptist Church. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served 8 years in the Air Force. He was Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base and retired in 2006. Mr. Sigmon enjoyed playing golf and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul H. Sigmon and Vera Edna Marlow Sigmon.
Survivors include his wife Henrietta Miller Sigmon, children; John Thomas (Holli) Sigmon, Eric Paul Sigmon and Jeffrey Michael Sigmon. He was also survived by 2 grandchildren and sisters, Becky S. Hannah, Betty S. Poovey and one brother, Gary A. Sigmon (Shirley).
Visitation will be from 6p.m. to 8p.m. Friday, August 26, 2011 at Clark Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Russell, Lamar Richardson, Keith Richardson, Gerry Dunaway, Jackie Sapp, Chris White and Roy Goodroe.
