Funeral service for Mary J. (Manning) Garrison, 85, Lawton, will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church with Shane Hall, pastor officiating.
Mrs. Garrison died Monday in Lawton.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
Mrs. Garrison was born January 7, 1926 at Tahoka, Texas, to Henry and Johnnie Mae Manning. She was a graduate of Lawton High School. She married Doyce H. Garrison on Aug. 17, 1947 in Lawton. He preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 2007. Mrs. Garrison and her husband had lived in Stillwater, Okla., for over thirty years and had moved back to Lawton in 2004.
She was a homemaker but as a young woman had worked as a secretary at the First Baptist Church for Dr. H. Tom Wiles. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Rick and Gracie Garrison, Lawton; a daughter, Sandra Garrison, Billings, Okla.; three grandchildren, Tony Garrison, Texarkana, Texas, Tina Haring, Lawton, and Ricky Montemayor, Laredo, Texas; five great grandchildren, Cristi Haring, Sabrina Haring, Colton Haring, Nicky Montemayor and Ari Montemayor; and a sister, Aleen Kinzer, Edmond, Okla.
Her parents, two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
