Final Rites for Mrs. Dean
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna
Dean, 83, of Rt. 3, Bainbridge
were held Thursday at 3:30 from
Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with
the Rev. Leon Carlton, the Rev.
Tommy Long and the Rev. E.J.
Childs officiationg. Interment was
in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with
Ivey Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
Mrs. Dean died on April 4 in
Whigham Nursing Home after a
long illness. She was born in
Grady county on Jan. 10, 1890 and
had lived most of her life in
Decatur County. She was a mem-
ber of Mt. Pleasant Baptist
Church, and her husband was the
late William Riley Dean.
Survivors include four sons:
Roy Boutwell of Climax, Hoover
Dean of Bainbridge, Crafton
Dean of Bainbridge, and Roy
Dean of Pelham; six daughters:

Mrs. Jeanette Christopher of

Welling of Tampa, Fla; three
sisters: Mrs. Ella Mae Brock of
Pelham, Mrs. Bessie Ward of
Bainbridge, and Mrs. Ochella Hall
of Dover; 35 grandchildren and 23
great grandchildren.
