Obituary in San Saba News 28 Nov 1957 is as follows:
BIGGS RITES HELD MONDAY
Last rites for Mrs. W. C. Biggs, 90, of Houston, formerly of San Saba, were held Monday, Nov. 25, at 11 a.m. in the First Methodist church with the Rev. W. L. White officiating, assisted by the Rev. A. A. Carter.
Mrs. Biggs, the former Lillian Urquhart, was born May 11, 1867, in Alabama. She came to San Saba county with her parents, the late Jeff Urquhart and Louisa Barnett Urquhart, at the age of five years. She lived in the county for 75 years. After the death of her husband, she went to Houston to make her home. She was a member of the San Saba First Methodist church for 74 years.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Jim McCann of Lometa, Mrs. W. S. Lowe of Mullin, Mrs. E. C. Carnes and Mrs. C. W. Barziza of Houston; one son, John W. Biggs Sr. of Houston; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Burial was made in the City Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Pete Johnson, John Lee Walker, M. A. Toliver, Walter Kirkpatrick, Charlie Taff, Jim Walker.
