Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Shirley of Route 2 Grayson, who died at the Mrs. C. J. Hatten residence near Grayson on February 10 at 2 p.m. were held at the Old Union Church with the Rev. G. W. Wall in charge of the services; he was assisted by Rev. L. C. Crain of ward 6. Mrs. Shirley was 88 years of age at the time of her death.
Survivors are the following: a son, Oscar Shirley of Grayson and three daughters, Mrs. Armandy Kelly of Grayson, Mrs. Roland Davis of Kelly and Mrs. C. J. Hatten of Grayson.
Interment was made in the Old Union Church [Cemetery] near Grayson under the direction of the Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.
