Cameron J. Young, 47, of Bloomfield, died Saturday (July 18, 1998) East Hampton. Born in Hartford, beloved son of Freida (Watson) Mason of Cape Coral, Fl. and the late Alexander Young, he lived most of his life in Avon before moving to Bloomfield one year ago. He was employed by MacDonald's Garage, Avon for several years.

Besides his mother, he is survived by a step-father, Bradford Mason of Cape Coral, FL.; three aunts, Mrs. Robert Long of Ridge, NY, Mrs. Porter Downey of Inverness, FL., and Mrs. Douglas Watson of Hartford; and two close friends, Edward Barrett of Winsted and Peter Janes of East Hampton.

Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of his family. His family will receive friends at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor, today from 7 - 9 p.m. Memonal donations may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
