She was born in Andrews, NC, on December 17, 1918, to the late William and Berta Piercy Luther. She was married to William Jack Snyder on July 1, 1952, and they spent most of their married life in Asheville and Candler where Jack was employed by Southern Railway prior to his death on September 22, 1992. They were members of Edgewood Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Harry Hilton Luther of Asheville.
Blondine is survived by a brother, Col. (Ret) Leon Clinton Luther and his wife Grace of Chester, VA; two nephews, Harry R. Luther and his wife Verlyn of Clemmons, NC and Stephen N. Luther of Candler; a niece, Susan Luther Hernandez and her husband Alex of Pasadena, CA and many other relatives.
