OBITUARY OF MILDRED MAE SLOSS

Mildred Mae SLOSS, 84, of Amarillo died Thursday, March 31, 2005.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Amarillo Primitive Baptist Church with R. A. Tindall, elder, officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.

Mrs. SLOSS was born in Olney on February 14, 1921, to Carl and Pearl TUCKER. Mildred was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jack Dee SLOSS; four brothers, Cecil TUCKER, Albert TUCKER, Buck TUCKER and Millard TUCKER; and two sisters, Betty RESECH and Ruth SHELTON.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, William; a son, Billy SLOSS of Laughlin, Nevada; two daughters-in-law, Paulette SLOSS and Roni SLOSS; Gaylene KREITZ, who was like a daughter to Mildred; two brothers, Wilburn TUCKER of Ralls and Bobby TUCKER of Spearman; two sisters, Violet HORNSBY of Spearman and Sue SLOAN of Canyon; eight grandchildren, Jackie WOOLSEY, Mark KUBENA, Travis SLOSS, Haley SLOSS, Brandon SLOSS, Heather SLOSS, Jessica SLOSS and Andrew KREITZ; six great-grandchildren, Sahara, Summer, Zayne, Alicea, Danny and Hawk; many loving in-laws; and many special nieces and nephews.
