Ruby Mae Cobb, 85 of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Brookside Nursing Center in Madill. She was born on October 17, 1925 in Lebanon, Oklahoma to the late Rube M. Shelton and Matthew Boles Shelton. She was raised in the Lebanon area and in 1951 she moved to Baum, Oklahoma. Ruby married James "J. D." Cobb on May 26, 1945 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1978. In 1960 she moved to Russett, Oklahoma before moving to Madill where she lived the rest of her life. She was a member of the Mannsville Church of Christ. Ruby enjoyed watching TV and sports. She loved writing and listening to music.

She is survived by:
