Emeline Edith Studwell, Wife of 37th Assembly District Candidate Fred Studwell, Died Friday after a long illness, She was 68 years old

Despite her illness, Mrs. Studwell encouraged her husband to continue his active pursuit of the assembly seat.

Mrs. Studwell, know to her freinds as Edie, was born in Lisbon, Ohio, she had lived in Friendly Valley for 15 years, and was active in the Friendly Valley Community Church.

Mrs. Studwell also participated in affais of the Tool, Die, and Prescision Machining Association.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, LeRoy Crites, Everett Crites, Clifford, Crites and Fred C Studwell also a daughter Suzanne Heichel, a sister Betty Gaskell and a brother Webb Flory.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 2pm tomorrow (Monday) at Friendly Valley Community United Methodist Church, Rev. Bernard Rice will officaiate, Interment will take place at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, Arrangements were made by Hilburn's Funeral Chapel

Mr. Studwell said that despite his grief last minute campaign efforts would proceed as planned, culminating in a small gathering of friends at his home on election night.
