FORT WORTH - Dovie Britt Conn, 88, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Laruel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Dovie Conn was born Aug. 2, 1909, in Hood County, Texas. She was a member of Williams Road Baptist Church in Fort Worth, where her late husband, Robert Conn, was a deacon. She was the pianist at the Acton Baptist Church in the 1940s and was a member of the Ridglea Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ray Conn; a daughter, Lynetta Conn Grafa; and her parents, Joel Huey Britt and Georgia H. Britt.
Survivors: Sons, Thomas Conn and Ronald Conn; daughter, Bobbie Conn Boyd; grandchildren, David, Karen and Danny Grafa, Bobby Conn, Alan, Scott and Paul Conn, Tac Townsend and Susan Dunn; and 15 great-grandchildren.
