Bernard Floyd Joyner, 80, is the son of the late Grady Floyd Joyner and Mildred Andrews Joyner. On May 9, 1953, he married Patricia Marie Ackley Joyner, who survives. He served his country with the United States Marines. He was an equipment maintenance supervisor with Thomas County.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; his sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Joyce, Glen and Lazina; daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Allan Paulk, Marie and Glenn, Carol and Dayne; grandchildren and spouses, Tyler and Adina, Ryan, Matthew, Justin, P.T. and Jackie Fielding, Joshua, Rachael and Jeremy, Ashley and Keith, Tiffany and Brad, Heather, Sara; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Frances Ezell, Eleanor Harper, Velma, Bettye and Lamar; half-sisters, Linda, Lisa; half-brothers, Tommy, Virgil, Wendell, and Stevie.

Mr. Joyner was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Floyd and Mildred Joyner; a grandson, Christopher Paulk; and a half-brother, Donald Joyner.
