Virginia E. Fosnaugh, 92 years old of Decatur, Indiana and a former longtime resident of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 in Adams Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Tuesday, October 28, 1919 in Adams County, Indiana the daughter of the late Floyd M. Shoaf and the late Lydia M. (Hannie) Shoaf. She married James J. Fosnaugh on April 13, 1941 in Decatur, Indiana and he passed away on May 25, 2004.

Virginia was a member of the former Willshire United Methodist Church in Willshire, Ohio.

She was a homemaker and had worked for seven years at the Shane Hill Nursing Home.

Surviving are her daughter, Kandace (Ronald) Stewart of Wilmore, Kentucky; grandson, Rodney Stewart of Dayton, Ohio; granddaughter, Tonya Stewart of Wilmore, Kentucky; sister, Betty Hammond of Boulder, Colorado; sister, Gloria Bentz of Decatur, Indiana; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding Virginia in death were a son, Carey Fosnaugh; one brother, Lauren Shoaf; and one sister, Doris Hemmelgarn.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor Bud Larimore officiating. Interment will follow in the Willshire Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service, Monday, April 2 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur.

Preferred memorials are to Willshire-Union United Methodist Church.
