Mrs. Carroll was born to the late John and Vera McBride Burns. She was a teacher's aide for the Lewis Co. School Systems and also was a school bus driver. Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Carroll (Annie) and Scotty Carroll (Tara); daughter, Kathy Barnes (Bobby) all of Hohenwald; sisters, Audra Nutt of Fairview, TN; Catherine Breece and Johnnie V. Durham both of Hohenwald; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel L. Carroll; sisters, Aileen Burns, Wanine Johnston and Louise Hazleton.
