Georgene Foster, age 78 of Centerville, Iowa passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.
She was born Dec. 27, 1932 in Mystic, the daughter of Harry and Delsie(Tracy)Watts. Georgene graduated from Mystic High School. She was united in marriage to Robert Foster on Nov. 22, 1952 in Milan, Ill. Georgene spent most of her life as a mother, grandmother and a homemaker. She was a member of the Dale Church.
She is survived by three childdren: Roberta(Bruce)Honaback of Bonnie Lake, Wash. and Robert Russell(Connie)Foster of Centerville; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, daughter Linda Foster, son Donald Foster and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011 at the Lange Funeral Home, Centerville, with Pastor Gerald Campbell officiating. Visitation will be Thursday at the Lange Funeral Home from 10-11 am. Burial will be in the Philadelphia Cemetery, Mystic.
