THE PADUCAH SUN - PADUCAH, KY - 08/24/2011 - Phillip Ezra Adams, 88, of Paducah died at 4:05 p.m. Monday at Lourdes hospital in Paducah. Mr. Adams was of Methodist Faith. During World War II, he was a clerical assistant to General Dwight D. Eisenhower. He was employed with Ford Motor Company where he retired. He is survived by his brother, Bennie Adams of Huey Town, Ala.; and one sister, Rose Mary Evans of Houston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Sally Jackson Adams; and one brother. Private burial will take place at Roselawn Cemetery in Bardwell. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Saint Jude's Children Hospital. Milner & Orr Funeral Home in Bardwell is in charge of arrangements.
