Dr. Buell was Born Nov. 29 1903 , here. He was the son of Dr. Edgar B. and Abigail Buell, pioneer Escondidains.
His father, a dentist, lived in Escondido for 47 years. He preceeded his son in death in 1948.
Dr. Buell was a veteran of World War II. He was a lieutentant commander in the Navy Reserve. He was also a member of the Retired Officers Association of Northern San Diego County and the local Elks Lodge.
His survivors include his mother in San Diego; his widow Verna E. Risdon Buell; his sister Mrs. Gardner Stowe of San Diego; and a brother, Ralph in Burbank.
The family request that contributions be made to the Heart Fund in lieu of flowers.
