WILLIAM ALEXANDER DIES:

William Alexander, 72 years old, colored, a former janitor at the post office, who was compelled to retire several years ago because of ill health, died at 6:07 o'clock, Saturday evening, at his home, 431 West 9th Street, after an extended illness.

The body will be at his home Tuesday morning from 9:00o'clock until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Calvary Baptist Church at 2:30 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon. The Reverend J.C. Caston of St. Louis, Missouri, former pastor of the local church, will come to Fulton to conduct the funeral. Burial will take place in Southside Negro Cemetery.

Dr. A. Richardson, of Fulton, ruled death as Chronic Myocarditis. Informant was Cicily Alexander, spouse of the deceased.

William was born in 1872, in Missouri, the son of unnamed parents. William was married to Ceciley Proctor and she survives him. He was a retired custodian.

Arrangements were under Eli Bell Undertaking Services of Fulton. Burial was in Southside Negro Cemetery.
