Dorothy Marie Kelley, 91, Wilton, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, Simpson Memorial Home, West Liberty. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2010, at the First Presbyterian Church, Wilton. The Rev. Jennifer Jennings will officiate. Burial will take place in Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2010, at the church. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or the Durant Garden Club in her memory. The Bentley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Dorothy was born on December 15, 1918, in Pleasant Prairie, the daughter of Evan and Elizabeth Angel Jenkins. She married Nevin E. Kelley on January 4, 1941, in Blue Grass. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2008. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Wilton, where she had served as a deacon. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Purity Chapter, Wilton, Muscatine County Farm Bureau, the Farmington Homemakers and a former member of the Durant Garden Club. She enjoyed good music, farm life, traveling, flowers, gardening and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Melroy Jenkins.
