Indianapolis Ind.- Mrs. Fannie L. Bragg Bartlett, 65, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of the Yuma Community, Gate City, Va., died at the Community Hospital in Indianapolis late Saturday.
She was a native of Scott County, Va., a member of Oak Glen Baptist Church and was retired from the Kroger Corporation.
She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Mollie Compton, Nicklesville, Va., Mrs. Sallie Ervin, Mrs. Laura Kate McGahey, both of Gate City, Va., Mrs. Victoria Peters, Kingsport; one niece and two nephews.
Gate City Funeral Home is in charge.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie L. Bragg Bartlett will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Oak Glen Baptist Church with Rev. A. Tom Crawford and Rev. Harold Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Glen Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Ray Shoemaker, Paul Martin, Audley Taylor, Logan Taylor, Love Sanders, and Glenn Bragg. The body will remain at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. tonight. They will also receive friends at the residence of a sister, Mrs. Sallie Ervin oif Route 3, Gate City. The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service. Gate City Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
