Rev. James Beecher Arnold was the son of Aaron and Martha Ann (Perkins) Arnold. He was the husband of Adeline Turner (Cunningham) Arnold. Adeline died in 1941. Rev. Arnold was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference 1890 F 1892. He was ordained Deacon Sunday, October 2, 1892 by Bishop Charles Henry Fowler at Albion (NY) Methodist Episcopal Church - ordained Elder Sunday October 11, 1896 by Bishop John Fletcher Hurst at Corning (NY) Methodist Episcopal Church. He served Scottsburg, Livingston Co., Genesee District, NY 1890-1893 - Scottsburg and Sparta 1894 - Dalton, Livingston Co., Genesee Dist., NY 1895-1896 - Friendship, Allegany Co., Olean Dist., NY 1897-1900 - Scottsville, Monroe Co., Genesee Dist., NY 1901-1904 - Duke Center and Rixford, McKean Co., Olean Dist., PA 1905-1906 - Withdrawn under charges or complaints 1907.
