Lillie Agnes Coble; Former Redkey Sweete Shop Owner
Redkey, Ind. - Lillie Agnes Coble, 107 N. Oak st., died Wednesday in Caylor-Nickel Clinic, Bluffton.
Mrs. Coble worked with her husband, Max C. Coble, who survives, for several years as a lineograph operator at the Redkey Times-Journal. The couple also owned and operated the Redkey Sweete Shop for many years.
She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of Halfway Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and past matron's club, Cozy Home Club, and War Mothers. Mrs. Coble also was a member of Cosmos Club, United Methodist Women and Tuesday Literary Club.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Dale Coble, Ewa Beach, Hawaii; one daughter, Mrs. Nada Lea Shreeve, Redkey, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Jones Mortuary, with Rev. Steve Haiflich officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today. Eastern Star services will be at 7:30 p.m. today in the mortuary.
