Survived by her husband and her daughter, Mrs. Patricia Ewing deVerardinis.

RITES SUNDAY FOR MRS. EWING.-- Services at Holy Name of Jesus Church.-- Funeral services will be held Sunday for Mrs. Robert Ewing, Jr, socially prominent New Orleanian who died early Friday morning.
Funeral rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday from the House of Bultman, St Charles and Louisiana avenues. Religious ceremonies will follow at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus. the Rev Murphy Ross, S.J., will officiate. Interment will be in Metairie cemetery.
Mrs Ewing died at her home, 5231 St Charles ave., following a lengthy illness. she was 54 years old.
the former Isabelle LaFonta, Mrs Ewing was born in New Orleans. She was the wife of 'Honey' Ewing, chairman of the board of the Times Publishing Co., Shreveport, chairman of the board of the News Star World Publishing co., Monroe, and chairman of the board of the International Broadcasting Co. Her father-in-law, the late Col. Robert Ewing, at one time was publisher of the New Orleans States.
Mrs Ewing attended public schools here and Newcomb College. For years the famly maintained a summer home at Pointe Vedra Beach, Fla., and often it became an almost year-round residence.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ewing is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Ewing deVerardinis [deBerardinis], and three grand-children, all of Shreveport.
