Amos Shafter "Brownie" Brown, 91, of Eldon died Monday, Feb. 15, 1993, at Still Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City. He was born Jan. 4, 1902, in Stevens Port, Ky., to Elijah Jackson and Ethel Aldridge Brown. On March 30, 1920, he was married in Eldon to Anna I. Dieckman, who died Aug. 9, 1992.
Mr. Brown was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Eldon and had lived in the Eldon community most of his life. He worked as a farm laborer.
Surviving are a sister, Gladys, in the state of Kentucky; and nieces and nephews.
The body has been cremated. Memorial services and interment of the cremains will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Dooley Cemetery under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon.
