EMMETT C LANG Native of Virgil, 71, to Be Buried Thursday Afternoon.
Emmett C. Lang, aged 71 years, died yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter,
Mrs. Earl G. Haight of 21 Prospect St. Death was due to a complication of diseases and following an illness of six weeks duration. The deceased was born in the town of Virgil on May 2, 18S3. He was the
son of Thomas and Anna Stubbs Lang, and the youngest member of a family of eleven children. Mr. Lang spent the greater portion of his life in the town of Virgil, devoting his Interests to farming.
His wife, the late Mrs. Charity Lang, died in the town of Virgil on Feb. 29, 1908.
He is survived by five children: Frank T. Lang and Fred Lang of the town of Virgil, Mrs. Earl G. Haight
and Mrs. E. W. Price of Cortland, and Mrs. Howard Clow of the town of Virgil. He also leaves two brothers
and a sister, William Lang of Cortland, Charles H. Lang of Harford, and Mrs. Frances Woodard of Cort-
land.
The funeral service will he held on Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. G. Haight, of 21 Prospect St. The interment will be made in the family lot of the Virgil cemetery.
